To catch this fish, head to the waterfall areas in the forest and cast your line between 6am and 2am during any season and in any weather. The specific spot is near the waterfall south of the forest, which can be a bit tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area. The Goby has a moderate difficulty in the fishing mini-game, with movements that are somewhat unpredictable but not overly aggressive. Mid-level anglers with decent equipment should be able to handle it without too much frustration. A Cork Bobber or Trap Bobber can help stabilize the catching bar during the fight. At 150g base sell price, the Goby offers solid value for a non-legendary fish, making it worth targeting when you are in the area. It is not required for any Community Center bundles, so you are free to sell it for profit or use it in cooking. The Goby can be used in Sashimi, Maki Roll, and Quality Fertilizer recipes.
