Ghostfish

The Ghostfish is a translucent cave fish found by fishing in the underground lakes on floors 20 and 60 of the Mines. You can catch it at any time of day, in any season, and regardless of weather since the Mines are underground. To access these fishing spots, take the elevator or fight your way down to the appropriate floors and look for the water pools where you can cast your line. The Ghostfish has an easy difficulty in the fishing mini-game, with slow and gentle movements that make it one of the simplest Mine fish to catch. No special tackle is needed, though having the Iridium Rod certainly does not hurt. At 45g base sell price, the Ghostfish is not worth much gold, but it is required for the Specialty Fish Bundle in the Community Center's Fish Tank, making it an important catch for bundle completion. Save one for the bundle before selling or cooking the rest. The Ghostfish can also occasionally drop from killing Ghosts in the Mines, providing an alternative way to obtain it without fishing. It can be used in Sashimi, Maki Roll, and Quality Fertilizer recipes. Since the Ghostfish has no seasonal restrictions and can be caught anytime you visit the Mines, it fits naturally into mining trips.
